Qualifications
General Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent, good communication skills, and basic diagnostic skills. Also required is the ability to perform equipment service and maintenance and to follow controls/wiring diagrams and schematics. Team work is a priority and technicians must be willing to work with and assist co-workers as needed, in addition to working overtime, night, and weekend hours.
All employees must be able to pass our background check, drug-screen, and have a clear driving record.
Preferred Qualifications:
All of the above plus, NATE Certification. Graduate of a Technical school for HVAC or Mechanical Trades.

Ongoing Training Programs
Atlas Training Program
Our Atlas Training Program combines classroom education with field training. Participants will participate in approximately 2 weeks of classroom education, followed by 4-6 weeks of field training. During field training, participants will shadow an Atlas technician, execute a field skills checklist and learn the responsibilities associated with HVAC maintenance, repair and installation. Upon completion of the Atlas Training Program, participants receive a certificate of completion, recognizing that they can perform a 25-point heating and cooling inspection and service, and become an Atlas Heating and Air apprentice.
No field knowledge or HVAC experience is required to apply. If you are driven, motivated and reflect Atlas core values, the Atlas Training Program may be a fit for you. Most Atlas Training Program participants become a technician in less than a year, but the structure of the program allows you to work at your own pace.
